Feature examples

These examples show how Noet can turn scattered work context into an answer, draft, or reminder. The names and projects are illustrative; the product behaviour reflects the current experience.

Recall a project decision

You remember the outcome, but not whether it was agreed in Slack, documented in Linear, or implemented in GitHub.

What did we decide about prorated refunds for the billing launch? Check Slack, Linear, and GitHub from the last two weeks.

A useful answer summarises the decision, separates unresolved points, and links back to the relevant thread, issue, or pull request. This is a read-only request: Noet does not change any source.

Prepare for a meeting

Before a customer call, ask Noet to assemble the context you would otherwise collect by hand.

Prepare me for my 3pm meeting with Acme. Include the latest email thread, related Slack discussion, and open Linear issues.

Noet can use the Calendar event to identify the meeting, then retrieve related context from connected services. Check the source material before relying on a detail in the call.

Find something you saw on screen

Moments can help when you remember seeing something but cannot remember the app, file, or exact time.

When did I last look at the new onboarding flow, and what was on screen?

Noet can search captured screen text and take you back to the relevant point in the Moments timeline. Screen capture is optional, and you can pause it, exclude apps or window titles, set retention, and delete individual moments.

Search local files by meaning

You can describe the document instead of remembering its filename or folder.

Find the spreadsheet with the revised Q4 hiring plan and show me the total for engineering.

Noet can search indexed PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, and text extracted from images. Open the original file to verify figures before using them in a financial or hiring decision.

Draft a reply without sending it

Ask for a draft that uses the history of a conversation while keeping the final action under your control.

Draft a concise reply to the latest Acme email. Confirm Friday afternoon works and ask who else will attend. Do not send it.

Noet can read the connected thread and prepare a draft for review. Sending or creating externally visible content requires confirmation; a failed action is reported as a failure, not as completed.

Set a follow-up from context

Turn a loose commitment into a reminder without switching to another app.

Remind me next Tuesday morning to follow up with Priya about the security review.

Noet can create one-off or recurring reminders through chat. Review the date, time, and wording before confirming the reminder.

Try one yourself

Start with a real question you already know how to verify. Include the subject, likely source, timeframe, and desired output, then inspect the evidence behind the answer.

Next, learn how to shape better requests or connect your work tools.
